Offered for sale is a two owner 1993 Corvette Anniversary Coupe. 1993 Marked the 40th Anniversary of the Corvette. This beauty has the special appearance package that included an exclusive “Ruby Red” exterior and interior. This was highlighted by matching color keyed wheel centers, headrest embroidery and bright emblems on the hood, deck and side grills. The most recent owner purchased this car in 1996 from the local Chevrolet dealer.
The 1993 Corvette also introduced GM’s first Passive Keyless Entry System whereby simply leaving or approaching the vehicle automatically unlocked the appropriate doors.
The 1993 Corvette was also the first North American automobile to use recycled sheet-molded compound body panels.
This beauty is powered by the 5.7 liter LT1 V/8 with a four speed overdrive automatic transmission.
Total sales for the calendar year were 20,487. The 1993 model year production was 21,590 cars. The Corvettes that didn’t have the RPO Z25 40th Anniversary package also had the special anniversary style embroidered headrests.
